Product Details
Blessed Teresa of Calcutta was the founder of the Missionaries of Charity, a religious community that serves the poorest of the poor. She responded to the call of Jesus to ‘radiate His love on souls’ by going out into the slums to serve Him in ‘the unwanted, the unloved the uncared for’. The humble beginning of this one woman has grown to nearly 4,000 members in 123 countries. Mother Teresa received many awards for her work among the poor including the Indian Padmashri Award and the Nobel Peace Prize. Her feast day is September 25.
